A Little Liner

Within my morning routine of coffee, breakfast, makeup, hair; I tend to get a little bored with the same look everyday.  Since I don't always have time to play with different eyeshadows or different curling irons, on the mornings that I do, I try to play up my eyes to discover the perfect fun, non-boring everyday look.  And I think I've finally found it!

It's not too dramatic, and not too plain, but a little bit of shimmer mixed with liquid liner gave me me the perfect flirty eye!

Step 1.  Prime the eye with your favorite eye primer.  I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Step 2.  Using a large shader brush, Pack and sweep on a light shadow that matches your skin tone.  I used Mac in Blanc Type.

Step 3.  Using a medium shader brush, pack on a light, champagne hue to the inner corner of your eye, continuing into the middle of the lid.  I used Mac in Nylon.

Step 4.  Using the same medium shader brush, pack on a light brown shadow to the outer part of the lid, dragging it up into the crease just slightly.  I used Mac in All That Glitters.

Step 5.  Using a crease brush, sweep a deep tan, matte shadow from the inner corner crease, to the outer corner.  I used Mac Colourization Duo (Teal and Tan hues-Summer 2011)

Step 6.  Using a dome shaped brush, lightly shade in the outer corner using a small circular motion with a deep maroon shade.  I used Mac in Sketch.

Step 7.  Line the waterline with a white eyeliner.  I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Step 8.  Line the upper lash line with your favorite liquid liner.  I used Loreal Paris Eye Marker in Blackest Black.

Step 9.  Finally, brush on one coat of your favorite mascara.  I used Bobbi Brown extreme length.

My Glam!

Upon anxiously awaiting it's arrival, My Glam January Bag is here!  If you're not familiar with My Glam, it's a fabulous bag sent to you every month for only $10.  It contains 4-5 full or sample size beauty products that are currently trending.  And this months was extra trendy!  January's bag was filled with nature and eco-friendly products.  On top of the cuteness of the bag, the products are great!  Inside I found  a face-mask, nail polish, hair conditioner and concealer.  Here comes the review!

Freeman Facial Peel Off Mask in Cucumber

Want to talk about a fresh, clean and rejuvenating skin care product?  This is it.  The Freeman mask was so easy to put on and take off.  Normally masks need to be mixed up then applied causing for messy fingers and hairline.  But with Freeman, all I did was pump two squeezes of the mask into my fingers, swirl it around my entire face, dry, and peel!  The peeling process didn't hurt at all.  I simply pulled and it came off!

The Balm Hot Ticket Nail Polish in I'll Pink to That

SO excited to wear this shade in the spring!  This nail polish was easy to put on, good quality and hasn't chipped in three days.  It's beautiful coral, salmon hue will be perfect to mix up with some florals this April.

Sheer Cover Duo Concealer

Besides the amazing obvious fact of scoring this product at such a cheap price, it has great coverage too!  Being able to blend to find a great color to work with my skin tone is such a great quality.  My new go-to concealer has been found!

Wen by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner in Sweet Almond Mint

While I haven't been able to try this product yet, it's smell is out of this world delicious!  Me being a fan of almonds, only contributes to its yumminess.  It will be awaiting my use in the shower tomorrow morning!

Fabulous Drugstore Finds

Vlog! Video haul of the products!

Sometimes I get these small, tiny, minuscule impulses to do some makeup shopping.  And by sometimes, I mean ALWAYS and by small, tiny and minuscule; I mean large, huge and gigantic.  Since I do enjoy it so much, I can't afford high-end, all the time.  And that's when I turn to drugstore!  I recently stocked up on a few things at CVS and came across a couple of products that are easily turning into my fav's.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in three words is fun, energetic and, well, BOUNCY!  It is by far the most interactive product I've ever used.  The pigment is great and it has a beautiful sheen.  I bought two different shades; Coffee Cake and Orchid Hush.  Coffee Cake has a bronze, golden hue and Orchid Hush has a pinky, plum hue; both great choices in the variety provided.

Essie nail polish Luxeffects collection is all about sparkle and shine.  I was instantly pulled in when I saw the fabulous hues.  I chose two different shades; Shine of the Times and Set in Stone.  Both beautiful topcoats, that I found can be worn as the single shade alone.

The last product I purchased was a Rimmel London lipstick.  I chose a deep red in shade 01 from the Kate Moss collection.  This is the first time I've dared to rock a red lip, and since the purchase, I've loved every minute of it!
